Born from beach days and hat battles
We’re Irish/Aussie parents who were tired of the same struggle - our boys pulling off their hats seconds after putting them on. With the harsh Australian summer sun (and pasty white skin, thanks to their mum!), we knew there had to be a better way.
So, we created Luma: smart, sun-safe hats designed for comfort, play, and peace of mind. With our design-registered buckle, UPF50+ fabric, and thoughtful details, they actually stay on and our boys love wearing them.
And because our two boys, Max and Luca, were the reason we began this journey, we combined their names to create Luma. A little piece of them is stitched into every hat we make.
